PROTEST
Production support, technical lead, full CGI production, editing, sound design.
This FOOH (Fake-Out-of-Home) project for Protest Sportswear, created in partnership with French freeride snowboarder Camille Armand, was showcased during the premiere of Pachamama at the Freeride Film Festival on Friday 29th, 2024, and generated over 25K views on Instagram. The campaign aimed to present Protest’s latest collection through a visually immersive and unconventional narrative. The concept featured garments attached to paragliders, offering a first-person perspective of Camille Armand flying through the scene mid-air.
I coordinated with the 3D fashion designer and compositor while executing all CGI work, translating the concept into a cohesive VFX sequence. The live-action footage presented significant camera-tracking challenges, which I resolved by accurately recreating the camera movement in 3D. I positioned and animated the paragliders to enhance spatial depth, synchronized their motion with the aerial maneuvers, and integrated clothing simulations while maintaining visual consistency across software pipelines. All additional 3D assets adhered to Protest’s branding guidelines. I handled lighting and environment creation, including mountainous terrains and shadow orchestration, and completed the project with final sound design.
Throughout the production, I worked closely with the producer to ensure alignment with client expectations, creative direction, and delivery timelines.
Work commissioned by Hai agency (former Orthodoxx).
