RGB.XYZ
3D artist.
Together with Isabelle Udo at videOrbit Studio, I worked on an interactive installation inspired by Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, exhibited at RGB.XYZ in Amsterdam.
The exhibition spanned three days in the heart of the city, featuring leading forward-thinking artists and creatives. The concept was developed internally at videOrbit Studio, and we decided to bring it to the public through this exhibition. The installation transformed the iconic painting into an immersive, interactive experience, allowing visitors to engage with the artwork in a dynamic, spatial environment.
I was responsible for the 3D production, meticulously recreating the elements of the painting with high fidelity. Every detail, from the textures and lighting to the materials and spatial composition, was created to maintain the aesthetic integrity of the original artwork while adapting it for an interactive, immersive environment.
The project showcased the potential of combining traditional art with contemporary interactive media, and my execution ensured that the digital representation of the painting matched the quality and detail expected by the studio and exhibition standards.
