DIOR
Art direction, full 3D pipeline, editing and sound design.
This independent project was inspired by Dior’s tea and coffee set collection, particularly its delicate tulip motif, with the goal of creating a serene yet visually captivating piece that welcomes the arrival of spring.
The concept was born during the early bloom of tulip season in the Netherlands, where the connection between nature and design felt especially present. I translated this inspiration into a poetic visual narrative centered around elegance, calm, and subtle transformation.
All Dior elements in the scene were fully created from scratch, including the teapot, cup, and plate, which were carefully modeled, refined, and textured to faithfully capture the sophistication and detail of the original Dior designs. I managed the entire 3D pipeline, from concept development and art direction to final rendering.
The animation focuses on a gentle, refined moment: tea being poured into a cup, from which tulips begin to bloom gracefully. This transformation introduces a soft element of surprise while remaining true to Dior’s timeless elegance. As the flowers emerge, the environment responds, the light brightens and the sun subtly appears from behind the clouds, enhancing the sense of warmth and renewal.
The project was conceived, directed, and executed entirely by me, resulting in a cohesive short piece that blends technical precision with a strong sense of atmosphere and storytelling. The final video aims to evoke calm, quietness, and peace, while celebrating the beauty of spring through a refined and brand-conscious lens.
This project is not affiliated with Dior.
